I got my first film camera as a gift when I was 18 years old and just moved to the city. I always enjoyed photographing, but it was only then that I started to take pictures of the people around me regularly. Collecting memories and the excitement of the uncertainty of how the pictures will look was what got me into analog photography. I always feel closer to the subjects I’m photographing when shooting on film because it forces me to be in the present moment.

I take personal and intimate analog portraits to emphasize personality. I'm mostly working as a documentary photographer but also in the field of fashion. When taking portraits, I don’t look for the perfect shot or the perfect angle. For me, the most important thing is to see the person I am photographing. With my pictures, I want to convey a feeling, an emotion, or a character and to create a calm and dreamy atmosphere where not a lot is happening.

I want to tell more stories through the pictures I make and to deliver a deeper insight into today's society. I'm also looking forward to getting deeper into fashion photography. I like to work in a calm environment, slowly, and take my time while taking pictures, so I can get to know the people and find out what type of scenery I want to create.
