Celine Paradis, a photographer and art director, originates from a small village in the German countryside. Now based in Berlin, she delves into the realms of creative direction and photography, embarking on journeys through fashion, documentary, and storytelling. In her ongoing artistic exploration, Celine now immerses herself in the captivating universe of motion pictures and self-portraits, unraveling profound layers of self-expression.

My artistic journey through storytelling and photography began at a young age. Experimenting with pocket cameras, immersing myself in vintage archive clothing collections, and composing images infused with poetry.

My work is driven by storytelling. I find weariness in creating without purpose, so I strive to construct parallel realities that invite observation, connection, and stillness. Set design and casting play pivotal roles in my process, allowing me to infuse a touch of irony into my work while keeping it sensual. I'm a very nostalgic person, drawing inspiration from poetry and diverse art forms outside the realm of fashion.

Passionate about diving deeper into moving imagery, I plan my first photo book and exhibition, working on two short stories and, drawing inspiration from research in libraries, moving away from the digital world, which is sometimes too engrossing for me.
