Ruben studied photography in Berlin. After graduating, he moved to New York to assist various photographers. Upon returning to Berlin, he transitioned into a career as a photographer and later a director, driven by a passion for strong visual storytelling. His commercial portfolio includes notable clients such as Apple, Highsnobiety, H&M, Grau, Kärcher, and ZeitMagazin.

My style bears a focus on light and moments, connected to youth culture, as well as an affinity for design. My photography and cinematography strongly influence each other; hence, the photographic aspect has a cinematic yet documentary approach, while my cinematography is very photographic in its framing and imagery.
