Rossella Damiani is an Italian photographer and creative director currently based in London. After she finished Bachelor's degree in Venice, Italy, gaining years of experience in teaching and tutoring, and a Master's degree in London, Rossella started to explore what it means to be an artist in the creative/fashion industry in a bigger city. She likes to experiment with different mediums. For her, it's not about choosing — it's more about merging the mediums one is interested in.

As a photographer, I tend to merge introspective and documentary points of view. My approach to image-making is heavily influenced by my surroundings and decision-making. My work explores vulnerability, womanhood, femininity, and masculinity using soft colours and mixing natural lights with studio ones. I tend to establish a relationship with my subjects: I'm always interested in their point of view, backgrounds, and stories.

I'm currently using a new approach, re-photographing my work, using the natural shadows from the space I'm in or natural elements. This has made me rethink my approach to photography in general. I want to keep generating meaningful conversations through my images, showing vulnerability and softness. I’m always looking for new talents, artists to work with, and new faces for upcoming personal and commercial projects.
