Adriana Cuenca is a photographer and director from Barcelona, Spain. Since she was a child, Adriana has been a creative and open-minded person. She decided to study cinema due to her passion for storytelling and interest in creativity. Years later, Adriana discovered photography and found a new way to tell stories through images. Studying fashion photography had a significant impact on her professional projection. Adriana found a place where through beauty, a space to express her feelings and emotions became possible.

I think there is a sense of emptiness in my style. I'm very demanding when it comes to choosing the girls I'm going to photograph. For me, their look is the most important thing. I need to see some sadness as if they were lost. Nature also interests me a lot. I think it makes us feel connected to something, and that helps us feel less lonely.

I want to photograph the female body. I think that from a very young age, women are imposed on a way of being, a way of acting. We have often been inflicted with unwanted sexualisation of ourselves too. I would like to show this sexualisation from an innocent point of view and with a look of rejection, of sadness.
